Integration of the GMS820P Sick gas analysis system into the automated process control system of PC No. 4 at the Kazchrome plant in Aktobe was completed
Gas analysis complex GMS820P Sick was successfully connected to replace ABB AO2000 system.
During the integration process the following works were performed:
✅ GMS820P blocks operation of GO in “clean gas” mode and switches to “raw gas” mode in case of exceeding the setpoints or alarm messages from GMS820P.
✅ Profubus transmission of binary signals is configured.
✅ Digital (Profibus) and physical channel interlocks are set.
Thus, according to the results of integration, the smelting unit Nº43 in the 4th shop of the smelting department (MV07) gas cleaning unit Nº43 of the Aktobe Ferroalloy Plant of the branch of TNC “Kazchrome” was switched to the gas analytical equipment GMS820P.
